Duties and Responsibilities
• Attorney IV shall provide effective, efficient, judicious, and expeditious legal service to the University
• Represent the institution in litigation negotiations and other matters where legal counsel is required, under the supervision of the Office of the Solicitor General, in case of litigation.
• Prepare case summaries, decisions, resolutions, and pleadings on appealed cases.
• Review policies and guidelines and research any related policies for continuous improvement of the University processes.
• Conduct legal research, interpret contract provisions, and draft contracts, legal instruments, and other documents that may be required in the future.
• Ensure that all proposed internal policies, rules, and regulations are reviewed and revised as to substance, form, and legality.
